My darlings... I love you all to bits. So, you should add catty_confetti to your journals. I made it, yes. It's me. I made the other Twilight-themed journal a while back, but it just didn't do it for me. In fact, I'll be deleting that one shortly. I still love dark_is_the_sex...but there are so many people on there who I hardly know. I'd delete them, but I've talked with most all of them before and they are kind people. It just takes me hours to go through the flist. I still check it from time to time, but those I care about most are added to this journal. I made catty_confetti for a bit of a change. I'll be jumping back and forth between that journal and this one. And just for the record...I adore my layout on that other journal. ♥
I got to go to Barnes & Noble today. ♥ I was given quite a few gift cards for there for Christmas. This made for a happy Chrysty. I picked up... Endymion Spring by Matthew Skelton - I've been wanting this one for quite some time now! Peeps by Scott Westerfeld - It looked like it was another one of those that had an intriguing vampire twist to it. Cirque Du Freak, book one by Darren Shan - I've been dying to get my hands on this series! Blood And Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause - I started reading this one a while back but lost my copy of it. So I repurchased, finally!
Also, It's Dane's Birthday. Dinner was at Red Lobster today. Mmmm.
So...I have a hampster. Only temporarily, though. Her name is Angel and she's white and fluffy. She's also about to pop out a litter in the next week. Today she got into a nsaty fight with one of the male hampsters. She now has a huge gash down the side of her fce. It was horrible... Since she's white it was even more dramatic to look in her cage and see her covered in blood. Since the store is so full of critters right now with the upcoming holidays, I volunteered to take her home so I can keep an eye on her. This way I can make sure the cut is taken care of.
Why do I have a funny feeling I'm not going to want to give her back? ::sigh::
Still alive here. Wow, my posting set-up is different. What has LJ been doing? o.o
Work is good... All my coworkers are pretty cool (except one, but we'll not get into that). A few friends have been coming to see me on my breaks, which is great. As of Tuesday we have hour long breaks. Wow. It's odd having all that extra time not to have to worry about scarfing down your dinner quickly and puff down a cigarette and be late. I work with a bunny and a golden retriever. They actually live in the store. The bunny likes to run at me out from behind shelves and scare me, then run back and hide. It's name is Buns. The dogs name is Toby. He'll bring you things if you ask. ♥
Now, I'm off to finish off my Christmas shopping. And...spend a few dollars on myself. I'm developing a new lover for Hinder. I must own some of their music, rather than one single song that I've been listening to on repeat. I love the song, but I'm starting to get tired with it, listening to it so often. I love the singer's voice.
I also found the cutest silver car that I want. No, it's not a Volvo. Only a few of you might understand that, though. ::grin:: It'd be really cool if it was. I'd never be able to afford it. I'm going to check it out some time soon and see if it's actually worth thinking about. Maybe I should get an old-school truck with rounded fenders. ~_^
Maybe it effects me so much because, well, other than the fact that I'm a complete sap, I know my signature was one of the ones on that list... At the time I'd said I was going to go out somewhere and do this. Now I want to even more. ♥
